National Express (NX) is ready to start to take over on the RE4 in the Rhine-Ruhr area from DB Regio. Although the official introduction of the new operator and trains is planned for 13.12.2020, NX has already started to operate some trains on the line, that will soon be rebranded as ‘RRX4’.
