The UK’s collection of EMD JT42CWR diesel-electric locomotives, formed of approximately 400 machines, is getting bigger. A new press statement from British operator GB Railfreight (GBRf) announced that the operator will be bringing in five more of these Class 66 locos from mainland Europe. It is not the first time this happens. Let’s have a look at the numbers:
