It’s time for Tender Update: Railcolor’s weekly overview of the latest tender developments from the European Railway scene – made available exclusively to our expert readers:
- [AT] ÖBB Infra’s “Rail Equipment GmbH” is looking for up to 96 high-performance maintenance vehicles at a total value of EUR 761.77 million. The tender includes a fixed call-off for 50 vehicles;
Maintenance should be included for a period of 13 years as an optional service. The original deadline for requests for participation has been extended from 20.08.2020 to 24.08.2020;
- [DE] DB Regio has canceled its existing tender for DMUs for the Netz Ostbrandenburg (NOB 2), which is planned for commissioning in 2024. Instead, the operator has launched two new separate tenders instead: one for DMUs and one for BEMUs. Stand by for further details on these tenders, as the remaining documentation has not been disclosed yet;
- [HU] That went fast! MÁV-Start has announced the winner of its accelerated tender for 22 second-hand sleeper cars. This is Wagon Service Travel of Slovakia – the only participant in the procedure. The total value of the contract is EUR 8.49 million;
- [PL] Polregio has launched a tender procedure for the lease of two DMUs.
