It is very likely, that during the Autumn of this year, PKP SKM Trójmiasto (SKMT) will publish the technical specifications for ten new EMUs it plans to order. The operator already tried to start a tender several times in the past, but due to various circumstances, it did not succeed.

On 11.04.2018 SKMT and the Center for EU Transport Projects (CEUPT) signed a contract about a subsidy for SKMT to buy ten EMUs, to replace the most worn-out trains in SKMT’s fleet. Now, two years have passed, but a tender procedure has not been successfully started.
