[RO / Expert] New regional EMUs for Romania – tender suspended [updated x2]

Romania wants to acquire new EMUs for regional transportation. With the submission deadline expired, let’s have a look at the companies that submitted a bid.

At the beginning of April 2019, the Railway Reform Authority (RRA) of Romania launched a tender for the acquisition of 40 electric multiple units (EMUs), including maintenance services for 15 years. Now the tender procedure has been suspended until further notice canceled.
