Below you see several images of Merseyrail’s future 777 003 – in total, 52 such EMUs are currently being built by Stadler Rail, for operation on Liverpool’s city region’s network in the UK. We have seen 777 001 and 002 before, both were taken to the Wegberg-Wildenrath test center in Germany.
Note that unit 003 is the first one we see with the final front design, including the detrainment door on the left, which includes part of the lighting system of the train. Unit 001 and 002 were delivered without this feature. We thank Steffen Tröndle for his pictures:
