Stadler Rail reported today that Ferrovie Nord Milano (FNM) exercises the first option under the framework agreement signed in November 2018. The contract for five new FLIRT diesel-electric trains with batteries includes a maintenance contract. FNM will transfer the new DBMUs to Ente Autonomo Volturno (EAV), which will operate these in the Naples region.
