[IT] CZ Loko delivers two more Class 741.7 locomotives to Terminali Italia

On 01.02.2019 CZ Loko announced the hand over of two additional Class 741.7 shunter locomotives to its client Terminali Italia.

In November we showed you a sneak peek of CZ Loko’s 741 745. Now the Czech manufacturer announces that this machine, together with 741 746, has been delivered to Italy. 741 745 will be used for shunting services at Bologna Interporto, while 741 746 will be working at Bari Lamasinata.

With this delivery concluded, the Class 741.7 fleet, which Terminali Italia is hiring, reaches a total of 5 locomotives:

  • 741 731 – built in 2011 – originally numbered 741 702 (corrected)
  • 741 737 – built in 2016
  • 741 738 – built in 2016
  • 741 745 – built in 2018
  • 741 746 – built in 2018

741 746 on a special mission

Interestingly, before its hand over 741 746 was seen transporting a ‘DoIC2’ control car and two TRAXX AC3 locomotives from Velim (CZ) to Bad Schandau (DE):
