[SE] On transport: the first Stadler Rail DOSTOs for Transitio > Mälab

Today we bring you our first images of a Stadler Rail KISS / DOSTO for Sweden. This is Mälartag no. 001 in blue and white. It will be property of Transitio AB and leased to Mälartalstrafik AB (Mälab).

For Mälab, Transitio ordered 33 double-deck 200 km/u-EMUs in 2015. They will enter service in 2019, two years later as planned, on the following lines:

• Stockholm – Eskilstuna – Örebro
• Stockholm – Katrineholm – Hallsberg
• Stockholm – Nyköping – Norrköping
• Sala – Västerås – Eskilstuna – Norrköping
