HS2 is coming. The new high speed line project in the UK is progressing. Rail manufacturers speculate on future orders and develop concepts for the future ‘UK bullet train’, as Hitachi Rail is calling its new AT400 concept. The project is now in early stages of concept design. With the AT400, Hitachi is extending its rolling stock standard program into the market of very high speed trains for the European market.
