Since 03.09.2022, after a 2-month hiatus due to construction work, the IC between Gera and Gotha (-Kassel – Cologne / Dusseldorf) is back. Before the break, red DB 245s from the Niebull depot up north were used to haul these trains. But at the moment, traction s more colorful. Next to DB 245 024, TRAXX diesel locomotive 246 049 of Pressnitztalbahn is in command.
