Noted with the camera: a change of design on locomotive E 37513. For the first time we noted a red-light grey Prima locomotive with full Akien-branding, so including the three red ‘plectrums’:
The locomotive shown above has an interesting history. It is one of nine machines that Alstom originaly built for operator Veolia (Cargo), which were delivered in 2007-2009. The numbers: 37506, 507, 511, 513, 515, 524, 529, 530, 531.
But soon after, Veolia decided to stop all its rail activities and in 2010 these nine locomotives were taken over by the French railways, making lease company Akiem responsible for their management. Now they are part of the Akiem fleet.
E 37513 still has its Veolia livery, red and light grey – which matches quite nicely with the red design details of Akiem.
