Recently, HHLA/Metrans have expanded their network to include connections to Istanbul into their intermodal network. To commemorate this, 383 443 has received a special new livery, created by Railcolordesign.
The design consists of a colorful base, depicting the journey from the Port of Hamburg, to Istanbul, where the Elbphilharmonie and Hagia Sophia are depicted respectfully. The middle part features the Balkan, with the line passing along Rijeka, Belgrade, and the Adriatic Sea. The fronts are tied together with a colorful gradient.
The locomotive made its grand debut at the Czech rail days in Ostrava from the 10th to the 12th of June. It was caught moving to the fair on 08.06.2025:
