SETG focuses on wood and wood chip transports. In 2005 SETG started its first international services, taking wood from Denmark to various wood mills in Germany and Austria. In 2018 the company transported around 4.5 million tonnes of freight, all across Europe.

Tractive power

You may remember the ‘wood chip’ design Taurus locomotive from 2004-2006 (1116 912-5). Or one of the more recent designs, like the Beethoven or European Vectron. But during its first 20 years of operation, SETG had a very diverse fleet of tractive power including Last Mile-electrics, electric lease locomotives from Alpha Trains, SBB Cargo, Railpool, ELL and diesel locomotives such as the Siemens ER20, Vossloh G1700, and classic V100 Ost and West machines.
