[IT] TRAXX DC3 impressions from Italy: New CFI locomotives at work

Earlier this year, Italian freight operator Compagnia Ferroviaria Italiana (CFI, recently acquired by F2i and ANIA) received its first (yes, there are more on the way) two TRAXX DC3 electrics. It’s time to see them at work:

494 582 was actually the second TRAXX DC3 to be delivered to CFI by Bombardier. Filippo caught it, together with an MRCE Vectron, passing through the station of Le Sieci, Florence on 31.05.2020:

The first image shows both 494 581 and 582, coupled together with freight service 51373, which runs between the cities of Piadena and Terni. The photograph was taken in Rignano sull’Arno-Reggello, Florence on 04.06.2020:
