[AT] ÖBB’s DOSTOs receive the Cityjet livery [updated]

ÖBB is expanding its Cityjet fleet rebranding. So far, we’ve observed Desiros and Talents wearing the distinctive white-red livery. Now, its time for ÖBB’s DOSTO push-pull sets to join the Cityjet family:

In the picture below we observe DOSTO control car 86 33-007, sporting the Cityjet livery of ÖBB:

The Austrian state operator has already released the first complete double-deck push-pull trainset set from its ‘Technische Services’ workshop in Sankt Pölten (AT). The train made its maiden voyage on 09.12.2019 with a regular service from Vienna, pulled by a Class 1044 / 1144 electric. (Of course, we’re dreaming of a Cityjet-locomotive now…)

ÖBB did not settle only for an exterior refresh. The interior of the train has been upgraded as well. And the are more units planned for overhauling. Stay tuned for details.
