[NL] A first: ICNG train in full design

Colorful news about EMUs: For the first time an ICNG train for the Dutch railways (NS) shows itself in full design. With ‘full design’ we mean that an end wagon now got the curvy transition that connects the black mask with the blue area around the side windows.

Alstom is building these trains with all-black sidewalls, only the front section and the doors are painted yellow. By using stickers instead of paint, NS hopes to save money when the outside of the train is damaged or requires an overhaul.

During the summer, we already saw the intermediate care in their final blue-yellow striping, when unit 3103 was on its way to the climate testing chamber.
