[DE / Expert] In the picture: TRAXX AC3 in intercity service (and tests) [updatedx2]

We are used to seeing TRAXX AC3 locomotives on freight and regional passenger trains across Europe. However, in December 2018 a new chapter started when DB Fernverkehr’s version of this locomotive entered revenue service – for the moment in Germany only, but soon in Switzerland as well. Here is a picture report, showing the first ‘DoIC2’ trains in action.
