[UK] The longest FLIRT in the world – 12-car unit for Greater Anglia [updated]

12 cars, the FLIRT family just got bigger, and longer. These images show you one of the first Class 745 EMUs for the UK. Twenty such trains will be delivered to Rock Rail that will lease them to Abellio Greater Anglia. 10 will be used for intercity services in the south-east of the UK, 10 more will form the fleet of the Stansted Airport Express.

Jeroen de Vries captured the transport of unit no. 94 70 0312 xxx-x near Schkeuditz-West on 18.10.2018, while being transported by MTEG 111 038 from Merseburg to Espenhain (DE).
