[AT] CargoServ orders one Vectron locomotive

Cargo Service GmbH (CargoServ) from Austria has placed an order for one Vectron locomotive. The contract was signed on 07.08.2013.

The machine will be delivered in February 2014 and is the first Vectron locomotive for an Autrian rail operator. CargoServ wants to use the Vectron locomotive for international services in Germany and Austria. The locomotive (most likely a Vectron AC version) will have 6.4 MW duration power (high power configuration) and a top speed of 160 kph. Next to the signalling systems for DE and AT, it will be equipped with ETCS.
