This is ArcticRail

ArcticRail Oy is a Finnish railway company founded in 2023. It is the fourth private rail operator in Finland and offers freight transport, rolling stock leasing, and certified maintenance services across the national railway network. The company owns a range of freight wagons, including open wagons, as well as a Dr16 locomotive, and operates throughout Finland’s rail infrastructure.

ArcticRail provides flexible and customer-oriented rail freight services, including full trainloads and smaller consignments. The company also handles specialized transport needs such as infrastructure-related cargo, project shipments, switching services, rolling stock towing, special loads, and on-demand (SPOT) transport. ArcticRail’s operations extend to ports, industrial sites, and railway maintenance zones.

In addition to transport, ArcticRail offers certified rolling stock maintenance services under the ECM (Entity in Charge of Maintenance) framework. These services include scheduled maintenance and repairs for locomotives, freight wagons, and railway work machines. Customers may also outsource ECM management to ArcticRail. The company’s technicians have long-standing expertise in railway equipment servicing.

Rolling stock leasing is another core offering, with ArcticRail providing locomotives (with driver) and freight wagons for both short- and long-term needs, enabling clients to access essential equipment without major capital investment.

Arctic Rail has now become even more visible thanks to the makeover of former VR diesel shunting locomotive Dr16 2811 — the machine has received a new white-turquoise livery:
