[SE] Bombardier Movia: Stockholm metro for climate tests to Vienna

New train types are being subjected to many tests. A visit to the climate test center of RailTec Arsenal in Vienna (AT) is often part of the menu of a program. This time a Bombardier Movia C30 metro train is due for some harsh climate testing.

On 27.01 and 28.01.2018 unit no. 2302 was taken to Austria by RailAdventure. Bombardier is currently building 96 4-car metro units in Hennigsdorf (DE). These will be operated on Stockholm’s ‘Red Line’ which is being extended. The Movia C30s are prepared for fully automated, driver-less operation
