[DE] First Vectron locomotive in InRail design released

Until now, you had to work with Railcolor photoshop impressions, but now we show you the first real Vectron locomotive with InRail’s corporate colors. This is Siemens 193 847 that was taken to the Dessau workshops in October to receive this new livery. The 847 is a DE-AT-IT locomotive and the first multisystem Vectron sold to an Italian open access operator.

InRail has three different Vectron locomotives on order. In January 2018, Siemens will deliver 1 Vectron DC and 1 Vectron MS locomotive to InRail. In October 2018 Siemens will hand-over the third machine, which will be a Vectron DC with diesel-power module (DPM) for shunting.

We thank Heinrich Prochazka for the photos.

On 24.10.2017: the all white Siemens 193 847: four pantographs and Italy ‘moustache’. Mathias Schrödter made this image in Brehna of the locomotive, on its way to from Munich to Dessau.

Currently, Italian rail freight operator InRail has one such locomotive on order, of which the delivery is scheduled for January 2018.
